TEAM
Nathan Hughes
Based in Adelaide South Australia, Nathan has ben a martial artist most of his life and began training BJJ in 2009 briefly at the local Brazilian Top Team. However shortly after starting a back injury kept him sidelined for several months and he didn’t return to the mats until 2013 when he started training under Matt Jones.
Frustrated by a lack of no-gi designs that appealed to him he discussed the possibility of generating illustrations based on his favourite movies initially with long time friend and professional illustrator Nahum. Their first collaboration was inspired by the movie Predator but the brand really took off when they released the first jITs Clown rashguard in 2017 to coincide with the release of the movie that inspired it.
Continuous Flow BJJ has always been a side project for Nathan, as long as it keeps him in apparel that he likes the look of, he sees it as an avenue to support the BJJ community. The CFBJJ athlete team now numbers well into the teens and the NFT Project will be used to expand that as well as begin supporting competitions and helping those within the community who fall on hard times.
